How to get to Szczecin

    • saving your legs for later? For a group up to 5 people we recommend Brandenburg-Berlin-Ticket. For 29 € you get a group ticket, allowing up to 5 people to take a train from Berlin to Szczecin. Additional cost: 3,5 € per bicycle. WARNING: the ticket works only in Brandenburg, so you can’t use it on trains going through Pasewalk. A regular one way train ticket shouldn’t cost you more than 11 € per person (+ the bicycle fee).

  • FLYING IN TO SZCZECIN
    • If you’re a lucky person able to fly directly to Szczecin, remember that the airport is actually in Glewice. If you’re not cycling (it’s about 40 km to the city center), it’s best to take a train from Port Lotniczy Szczecin (airport) station to Szczecin Główny (main) station. Cost: 18,70 PLN (about 4 €) per person + 7 PLN (about 1,5 €) per bicycle. WARNING: the last train leaves at 7:10 PM; you can only pay in PLN for the ticket.

  • Some people say it’s faster with german autobahn (yeah, we wouldn’t be surprised)
  • you can try swimming to Szczecin, we’re city of cranes, ships and harbours
  • Why not riding a bike through Poland? Get on that with pre-event Messtung Breslau from Wroclaw!
